I need a throttle position sensor and the only one i can get is off a 22r motor and i have a 22re? Will it work?? If you know please let me know

22R Does not have a TPS.... So you have some misinformation somewhere... I'm not sure on year TPS compatability, but my thought is if anything is different, it's the early (85-86) TPS vs. the later (87-95) Can you check the part numbers on them?

22r is a carburated motor, and 22re is fuel injected. A 22r wouldn't have a TPS.

Dude, 1st off welcome. And second, there is a WEALTH of info in the FAQ. Look at the sticky's to find it. Click on it, and have a ball.
