TL;DR: I’m cheap and want something really specific. What do?

Hey gents, I just got a great deal on an ARB twin and I need a place to put it. I looked at slee, but I have all my switch controller stuff on the drivers side. I know I can also do a slee accessory mount on the passenger side. I looked at SDHQ but can’t bring myself to pay $250 for a mount after taxes. Are there any other options I don’t know about? I prefer to keep it out of the cab since I often have a tiny human or two in there while I air up.

I believe you can mount the ARB twin to the passenger side Slee mount (probably drill your own mounting holes), but the original wiring probably won't be long enough. I ended up doing the Slee mount for the ARB twin on the driver side and did my switch controller on the Slee mount on the passenger side.

Hmmm maybe I’ll end up doing that, sadly tearing out my switch controller and moving it seems like it will be the easiest and cheapest route. I saw @TeCKis300 installed twin viairs where the PS resi was. Wonder if there’d be enough room for the ARB?

Looks like there is. I’ll play around with making a mount and see if I can make something work

Hmmmmm

I have the arb dual in my other truck and it gets HOT! Not sure if mounting it to plastic is best idea

Keep an eye on it

Mine is mounted to the SDHQ mount. It was expensive but works. You might be able to use a very long galvanized deck joist hanger from home despot, and drill it to work… I considered that but decided on the reliable option to just get it done.

Oh I’d definitely not mount it to any plastic. I’ve had a few and even the singles get HOT. I’m going to keep it as far from rubber and plastic as I can.

I was going to try to get my hands on a press brake and sheet steel or aluminum. Might try to mount it vertically like some of the bronco mounts I’ve seen.

If you don’t need a dual battery setup it would be much easier to move the power steering reservoir and mount it there

I totally misread and misunderstood your post 😂

Yeah I think that’s the direction I’m gonna go. Thanks!
