ARB bumper for '81 pickup?

I thought ARB made bumpers for the older pickups, however it looks like '84 is the earliest they catalog:

Any thoughts on making this fit or a similar bumper (winch mount with complete front end protection) made by someone else?

I also noticed that Marlin isn't making rear bumpers for long beds...ideas?

It's nearly impossible to find a first gen bumper. I've been looking on and off for about a year. The only ones that I know of that even make one is Marlin. They have recently done a redesign and are supposed to be coming out with one for the first gen. Haven't seen anything on it yet but I haven't checked back lately. I believe the mounting is way different so I'm not sure how easy or practical it would be to try to make a newer one fit. You could try to buy a winch plate from someone and make a bumper.

I bought my '81 with home made bumpers both front and rear. They're welded on - came that way. The PO told me he had cut the front bumper down from a full-size truck design to fit on the Mini. If any one recognizes the design, feel free to chime in with the manufacturers name. It is about as sturdy as an ARB, but the grill guard doesn't extend out to protect the lights. Don't know your skills but it might be an option. Here's some pix:

I have a fabricator pal, we'll see what we come up with...

Should be easy enough to find a second gen somewhere that you can take a look under to compare how they differ. Then just a matter of fabbing something up to make it work.
