I tried to order that through cruiser outfitters and through OK4WD, both were only able to order it as a kit with the 72×51. Maybe contacting an ARB rep might help
No reason it wouldn't install. Just might not want to load the front as much?

It does seem there are some kinks to work out. Like why couldn't I have used the same mounts as the factory rack? There's even a hole in the mount kit perfectly aligned with it. It's pretty obvious it won't work with the provided hardware as the spacing is different between the bolt holes. Is the forward location rated for a different load? Many other rack makers don't seem to have a problem with it. Would've been nice to preserve the factory drip
cover trim (not that the forward trim didn't already look dumb thanks to a windshield installer).

Brother this is EXCTLY what I needed to see, thank you so much for the pictures!

ARB uses locations, B ,C & D.
Factory used A, C & D...

Wonder why the difference? Hmmm....

The hole in the rack “spines” near your front OEM mount almost look like a foot would mount there, or is that the hole for the deflector?

I don't know. I've still never heard why the deflector wasn't included in my kit. I will note "A" has different hole spacing from B, C, and D, which is how I knew to start with I was installing brackets in the wrong location. It kind of seems like a cop-out on ARB's part to not use the forward-most mounting point, thus requiring a slightly different bracket. But yeah, maybe that's where the wind deflector mounts? Anyway, PM me if you want to buy mine near Truckee, CA. It's incredibly rock solid but not what I'd hoped. Also kind of a weird low harmonic right around 30 mph airspeed (but totally bearable).

Agree with everything you said. Haven't experienced the rack yet with the lightbar on (that's a summer project for me) but I'd imagine the noise would go away mostly.

I love the rack design, once they pull their heads out of their butts and offer a full length rack utilizing the factory holes I'll jump on board.

They offer an 84×51 size versus the 72×51 pictured here. Not sure if you can order the fitting kit separately but you might be able to achieve the full length

Any word from ARB concerning the availability of mounting kits for the LC200?
Thx for any update.

Oh brother don’t get me started on the 200 stuff, their backbone system for the 200 per their instruction PDF shows the backbone utilizing all four sets on each side which would be awesome strong.

To get things a little more interesting if you go to arb.com.au and build out your land cruiser in Australia the PDF appears to utilize the most forward set of mounts like we have on our trucks here in North America.

Please don’t let my post come across as being negative or something, my OCD wants me to be brand loyal and it just really stumped me when I saw that there was a Backbone option that didn’t use the forward set, you would think might be the strongest unless that other one that they do use is considered stronger because it’s basically above your B pillar and not slightly in front of it.

I had high hopes and dreams of just taking my factory rack off and cleaning everything up and throwing it on there.

I still wouldn’t mind even the old-fashioned ARB cage looking racks, but I would want the longer one.

Time will tell!

Have any of y'all (in the US) found a reliable source for attachment accessories? Everywhere I look online they're out of stock and shipping from...australia in some unknowable amount of time...or marked up 25% on amazon.

Quadratec! Ships in 1-3 days with free shipping and they commonly run discounts too!

I got an email update from ARB and in it they said they had new mounting options. I went to their site but couldn't distinguish any differences.

Anyone know what that was about?

I spoke to someone at ARB USA last week and they said the LC200 mounting kit won't be released in the US until late fall (maybe).
Sounds like the right hand doesn't know what the left hand is doing.

I was navigating their NA market webpage a couple days ago and they didn’t even have the new rack listed for the 100, just the 44x44 original.

I‘m really hoping they are seeing that the fact is,

Frontrunner includes all four mounting options with hardware,
Sherpa Eq includes all four mounting options with hardware,
K-9 uses the NA front location to mount their tracks to,
Gamaviti can sell you an extra pair of feet if you want four per side.
Dissent uses all four per side,
I’m sure others do also.

Just a slight oversight IMHO.

They nailed the Backone System for the 200 though. It uses all eight mounting locations.

I am now wondering if a front set of “feet” from say Gamaviti or TT would mount up to the fourth extra hole in that Base Rack, then you would have a sweet strong set up for that longer option.

Hmmm

It might be worth asking how much the rack itself weighs. I haven't tried other racks nor have I weighed mine but it's gotta be pushing 100 lbs (totally guessing). It's a lot of weight up high. A longer one might exceed what my wife and I could take on and off without a hoist and without thoroughly scratching the roof.

Good point!

Has anyone put these new base rack attachments through some heavy use? Here's how my farm jack attachments worked after maybe 20 miles on usfs roads and around town (with hilite mounted). I have an email into arbusa for warranty service.....

Videos here of both flopping loose with clamps and bolts max tight.

This photo is after basically pulling one mount off the rack having slightly loosened only one of two clamp bolts.

I always question myself on this site but this is...like nothing I've seen in decades of far lighter weight roof rack use.

Can you/anyone confirm if the 1545L platform is still compatible with the blades?
As in do the fixing points on the blades still work for the platform even though the 1545 platform is a crossbar shorter?
I can't. Entirely surmising for my part.
