What are you referring to as the 3rd member seal??....

If your thinking pinion seal, your going to an awful amount of extra trouble to accomplish that task.........

nope not talking about pinion. Need to replace seal/gasket from mating surface of axle housing to 3rd member carrier. Now arb has sent me the real installation guide. Thanks for checking!!

What happened to the good old days when parts had their correct names, you know like, a seal is a seal and a gasket is a gasket?

Got the little tool to snake the pin out?........

No I do not, however can you use a 6:32 machine thread? This is what ARB tech support e-mailed me, if this is not correct. Then what would this tool look like? If it is threaded can someone tell me correct size & pitch? I'm still curious what this tool looks like...arb brought this up also in their e-mail.

I got busy doing outdoor work on the house.....it stopped raining in the Pacific North West, had to use that opportunity for other things.

hi samatulich, if I could get the block out and push my axles to get to the c clip I could ... I can't take the spacer block out since the crown is in the way and the spacer block is too big to passe to get to the clip

I’ve only been inside there once and that was to remove the open diff, and install an ARB locker. Couldn’t remember the order of operations, but I’m sure someone else does. Good luck and keep us posted.

This is my first time working on a ARB air locker .... buid a few diff's before and never had trouble, just can't figure this one out, seems like the picture up in this forum seems to have more space than what mine does
