Snapped a pic of two old friends. They haven't been parked beside each other in a year.

Just might be getting a GM 6.0 [LQ9] 4L65E 203 double to splitcase. Seems like that those fj80's like that set up and I just happen to have that setting in the shop for another rig and it might be better fitting for the 80! And the 3fe set up is going to make a great set up for a 2fe in Bills fj40.

thanks
Rance

Very cool stove Rance. Did you have some work done to it?

Anyone ever used the Marlin 1600 lb cluth?Don't know which one to go with. So many options for a clutch.

I think Sam put one in his mini and hated it. Ended up with a parts store special in it before it was over. I put a marlin clutch in a 2wd pickup I rebuilt a motor for and liked to have never got the MC adjusted out enough to get it to disengage. And even then it had to be on the floor, literally, on the floor to get in and out of gear. I also had a new marlin flywheel on there to. He and I may have had the exceptions to the norm, but it has made me think twice about ordering one for my pickup when I get to my 22RE build.

Edit: for clarification the clutch I had was a standard one which I think is 1200#

Thanks for the reply. I think I'll just get one from the autoparts store first and go from there.
