Could he just tie it up somehow and drive on down the road? Looks far enough out that it wouldn't interfere with anything as long as it's selectable 4wd and the CV doesn't rotate any.

It's a 2003 LX470. Don't know if he could do that or not. Guess he could remove the front drive shaft and make it 2wd

He has ATRAC, so he can pull the front shaft and lock center diff. If he does so, tell him to flush front diff. He will likely loose some fluid and take in some debri.

Maisen has been playing with them for 3 years. Reagan likes them too! At 10 mo she already says vroooooo and pushes them. I can see 6 in the living room floor right now. 3 Cruisers, 1 LR Discovery, 1 early 70's Bronco, and a IH Scout. We don't mess with cars just trucks .
