APP for Navigating in Baja (1 Viewer)

I am heading to Baja at the end of the month. Plan on using an iPad mini for navigation. I have heard great things about gaia as a mapping app. However I went to there website and their mapping coverage of baja doesn't seem that great. Can you import different maps into this app? If so can anybody point me in the right direction?

I'm new to the mapping app thing and have only tried out one or two. We were out in the middle of nowhere in Baja last year and even my iPhone map showed the trail we were lost on...

Thanks. That a good lead. Will bring paper maps but also would like to find one map tiles for iPad as I won't have cell service

Sygic has worked great for me in Baja for "town" navigation. Maps are downloaded to your device. Backcountry Navigator for everything else.
