I am gonna bring some "KILLER" potato salad & a few different varietals of my favorite Stone beverages for you guys to try if you havent had the opportunity (Ruination IPA, Arrogant Bastard, and their Verticle Epic if I can find it)
 
Even tho there'll be just a few of us, I'll still do the apple cobbler on Friday night and that'll give us dessert on Saturday evening too!

If there will be room on the grill, I have some fresh picked corn on the cob I'd like to bring as well.
 
UPDATE:

I reserved a room for Saturday night at the Standlunds Inn. So I have made a commitment to gettin out there. Due to dogs and :princess: I will try and make this as painless as possible for them. I will still most likely be arriving Saturday afternoon. I might wheel a bit then and then get up and go for another ride on Sunday. I see it's dropping down to 82 on Sunday so that should be nice. I wish I had a CB for the sake of communicating with you guys. I am a little concerned about the 40 hoping it runs fine. Probably no real rational reason to worry other than it's older and running on a rebuild and the miles are unknown due to a faulty odometer.

Anyhow if you guys can let me know when you will be leaving or what you will be doing saturday afternoon/night in to sunday day and maybe PM me your # it would be a nice safety precaution. I hope to run into some of you if possible.

PS If I got a handheld CB would that do me any good as a safety precaution or even allow me to communicate to others from a distance? Im guessing the range is too small..
 
I live an hour away from Borrego Springs and I plan on leaving around 3 today. After airing down at the trailhead, I'm guessing 4:30 at the creek crossings. PM me if you want my cell number and I'll have my CB on channel 12.
 
Nothing like being late to the party...might try to head out there and find you guys tomorrow sometime.
