Events/Trails Anza Borrego Clean up #3 January 16th-18th

Good morning all you Beach N Toys faithful. We are planning our third installment of assisting the State Park with clean up of the park January 16th to the 18th. The area we are looking at areas from Fonds Point out Short wash and into Hawk Canyon areas. Plan is to meet at the trail head of Fonds Point on Friday at 9 am then head out to our cleaning areas. Once we are done that day we plan on heading to camp which will be the base of our operations for the next two nights. Saturday is a fun day!!! We plan on continuing the exploration of the State park and enjoying the surrounding areas with ending back at camp. Sunday depends on how everyone is feeling if we do some off-roading then head for home. Hope to see everyone again for this.

Too soon to know where our actual location will be early Saturday but I can reach out to you in the morning. Earlier if we get it figured out Friday evening.

FYI the current plan is that my 2 boys will be with me.

Good morning! Getting ready to head out now. For those participating in trail maintenance today, see you at Fonts wash entry off S22 @ 9am. A State Park representative or two will also be joining in to help and also document our efforts for State Park social media.

Round three is complete and in the books. The club had 4 members to come out to clean and then for the fun run day we had seven. Three are newer to the club and had a blast. Huge thanks to @hamilt0n for getting us the contact at State Parks so we can give back

Sorry to have missed this but we had kid bday party. I am interested in these outings especially as my kids get older I want them involved in volunteer work and cleanups. I will be on the lookout for the next one. Also my son is just joining boy scouts so maybe I could involve the troop next time.
