.... on the 20th?

There was some discussion about having "The Run Formerly Known as the Daylight Savings Run" at Disney the same weekend Green Country has their picnic there. I missed the end of the conversation but think it was decided not do that.

Anyway. I'm gonna wheel this year and the GCC picnic at Disney is Oct. 20th

Who's interested?

I started typing a post about this then noticed you started a thread already...I was going to make a poll to estimate public opinion.

I think the idea was to go someplace new for "former DSR"...Attending the Green country picnic was just a side bonus if we moved it to that weekend.

At some point I mentioned that I had my folks talked in to coming down to Tuttle and that is when we realized that a few folks wont' be able to change plans on this short of notice. Right now I'm leaning toward moving DSR to Disney and making it the same weekend as the green country picnic. My folks probably will still meet me up at Tuttle the following weekend because I’m pretty sure they won’t be able to travel down to Disney.

It is not that I am against Disney and frankly I am not sure at this point if I could attend either one.. I would be more likely to attend an event at Tuttle...even if it is an informal one. Craig

I'm game for Disney. Tuttle is okay but Disney is offers different terrain and in general just looks like more fun. Unless something comes up we're there.

Dang.. i'd rather combine club stuff plus the GCC hate having me at their raffle! It might be nice to not be out of town last weekend in Oct! If we move GCC and DSR to Oct 20th I can be home one weekend maybe! Hunting first 3 weekends in November already. Pheasant and deer.

DANG!!!!!!!

I will never get a chance to wheel with you man!! I am moving to Alabama the week before that. I have been jonesin to go back to Disney.

If any of you have never been to Disney, try it. It is SOOOO much better (as far as variety goes) than Tuttle. Disney has everything from mild to wild and also has tons of trails and some mud if your into that as well.

I have never taken or went with a 1st timer to Disney that said they hated it or didnt like it or wouldnt be back to Disney again SOON.

Good luck on the trip and have fun.

You wanna trade those SX's on some MTR's???:eek:

Ordered my tires/wheels today. They should ship from TX late today or tomorrow.

If I only had a spare vehicle I could take care of my stumble issue. If I remove the injectors tomorrow and ship them out I should have them back by Monday...we'll see.

Hmmmmm......Guns or go wheeling.

You play with guns every day you don't wheel every day, problem solved. Plus if you want to see the guns that make it to your lab you better check out the ghetto in Tulsa not a gun show. :D

On the contrary, most of the ghetto guns are from the shows, and it's easier to check em out there than in the hood. And it's not just guns, it's ammo. Plus there's some gun museums in the area, but I'm still considering the wheeling. Are y'all camping?

There is camping available at Hogan's campground and at the state park the picnic is at. There are cabins that are usually available in Disney also.

From the Oklahoma Trail Chasers site (at the bottom of the page)

I received my two tires today. I might have them grooved by then.

The intake is off and the injectors are in the shop for cleaning and I have a Mollee care package on its way. I'm hoping this will cure the stumble I've had now for the last ten or so months.

We were thinking about camping it but if there is a cabin close and the $$ is right we might go that route.
