Anyone ramped a landcruiser with aftermarket suspension?

The revelation that bilstein’s new kits come with a 30% stiffer than stock front spring despite being built for stock weight got me thinking about spring rate and the impact on articulation. We’ve all seen the autoblog thread putting a new cruiser and LX on a ramp, and I completely understand that RTI is far from the complete picture on off-road ability, but..

has anyone actually ramped a cruiser with aftermarket suspension? BP51s, kings, icons, TD, etc.

I know there are a ton of variables, but I’m curious if these higher spring rates sometimes without the extra load might limit compression and therefore articulation over bumps, despite the generally increased down travel.

I've ramped the Bilstein 6112 Tundras which have the same springs as the LCs. I have it set on the 2nd from the highest lift, plus a half in spacer, and scored slightly lower than the stock autoblog score. I also don't have any weight on the truck, which would prob have helped a bit actually. So many variables though. I posted it somewhere, prob in that autoblog post, but could look it up again if you want.

Don’t bother looking it up. As long as that half inch spacer wasn’t limiting up travel I bet more weight would help.
Also it’s interesting tundras have the same spring despite longer arms, though I guess if the shock pivot was moved out as well that could cancel out.
I need to take some measurements on a tundra arm vs our stock ones..

IIRC I looked up shock lengths on King website since they publish and Bilstein doesn't and the lengths were the same between Tundra and LC. Bilstein says the LC shocks are slightly shorter, springs are the same, but valving is different (LC being heavier). I have un-installed Tundra lower arms here if you want me to measure anything, let me know.
