Anyone mounted a Pelican Case or Alubox inside rear cargo area?

I'm glad everyone has taken my decision not to put drawers in this truck as the personal indictment of your entire existence that is was meant to be.

🤣 This is funny. Mods are a personal thing, not one size fits all. Happy you found a suitable setup!

You mentioned the occasional passenger in the second row... have you thought about removing the smaller section and replacing it with Alubox or even a simple platform? That'd leave the back open for the dogs yet also give you a safe and secure place to store stuff.

The pelican case looks like a great low profile solution. I assume you cut slots in the bottom of the case to use the jubilee clamps? If you ever need to rework that attachment I think longer bolts (50mm) into the seat anchors would work great too.

I had the 40 section replaced by a fridge in my old Land Rover and that led to enough issues in normal use that I don't think I'd go that route again, at least not for a car that sees daily driving type stuff. Maybe in 10 years when this becomes our camping vehicle.

Thank you. Yeah, those bolts are a good solution and I'll probably end up with them at some point. The jubilees were just fast and easy, and plenty secure.
