Does anyone know cruiser_importer who lists LCs on ebay? I am thinking about pulling the trigger on one of his vehicles. I am doing my due diligence on importing and titling but I am more curious if anyone has had any direct experience, either good or bad, with cruiser_importer. I have a reference for whom I am waiting a call back but was hoping someone here has had contact with him. Feel free to pm if you'd rather not post directly.

Thanks,

Rick

Rick, I also offered to source you a Land Cruiser in your price range. I told you I had a few coming up in the following weeks that I will be able to get into your desired price range. @Landpimp , all my land cruisers are titled in my business partner's name. We do, in fact, own them.

We police our own here. Post up the proof.

Please see the screenshots I am attaching. The first message I received from Rick on August 26th asked if I received his prior messages. That was around 2:30 pm. He then realized that those messages didn't get through, and I received his "previous" messages at 2:59 pm. I had relisted the vehicle hours before any of these messages. He is claiming that these messages were sent prior to 10am. Please see the time stamps in the messages. A simple "mistake" by Rick has resulted in this unwarranted attack.

Clearly, these messages were sent at 2:29 and 2:59 respectively, not 10am as he is claiming. Rick, I would like an apology for this.

you made an offer to sell at a certain price, but it could not be accepted because.........the title is in someone elses name.......right?

how can you call them "your" land cruisers and in the same sentence say they are in someone elses name?

not saying the OP is correct.....and there may be mis communication on both sides but from what your saying I tend to buy what the OP is selling

. @Landpimp , all my land cruisers are titled in my business partner's name. We do, in fact, own them.

Rick asked all the right questions.......really interested in your answers

if I did something at 9:30.....I would prolly tell most people 10..... my memory sucks, I don't even have a clue what day of the month it is sometimes. there may also be a time difference.

not that it matters really

@Landpimp My business partner and I conduct this business. They are in his name, not mine, so you are correct , O
@Landpimp I accidentally sent that message without finishing my statement. Yes, you are correct. They are in my business partner's name, not mine. I had shot a number at Rick thinking my business partner would be game. We need to clear the herd for a frame off resto we are doing for a client in Utah. The frame-offs are our money makers so I didn't think he'd have a problem, but he told me he wasn't ok letting it go for that price. Luckily, I did not hear from Rick nor receive his messages.
What is in question here is the relisting of the vehicle. There is no time difference. I go back and forth from Costa Rica to DE every month. I am currently in DE at the moment. Rick is in MA. I received his first message on the 26th at 2:29 eastern time. If you'd like me to take another screenshot I can. I remember getting his first message at 2:29 asking why I hadn't responded to his earlier messages and wondering what he was talking about. Later, his "earlier" messages came 2:59 pm that day. I relisted the vehicle in the am. I can take screenshots of my email account as well, showing my ebay notification emails from Rick that day. I received no messages from him in the am.

Please take a look at the bad sellers - buyers beware post for this guy. I have posted screen shots of emails sent on the evening of the 25th where we agreed to terms as best you can via email, and early morning on the 26th which he claims he never got. Now this is eBay to eBay - they are in my sent box and were there moments after I sent them. I really wanted this truck for that price so was not messing around. I frantically sent 3 emails to him before the 2:59 email hoping to nail things down and get him a deposit. I really don't feel like taking the time to cross post here, so please look at it over there if you do not mind. If anyone has the technology to cross post it here to this thread, or can tell me how to do it quickly I would gladly.

Also look at the reference email that he claims I could not have since he never sent one. The problem is the reference never answered his phone and never responded to my voice mail message with name and cell phone number with a request for a quick return call. Not incriminating that I have not been able to contact the guy in 3 days, but why would cruiser_importer deny he ever sent it?

As for the bank wire, I had promised to him that it would be quick, easy, cash sale. I hoped that would get me some consideration so I wanted to make it happen. In spite of the fact we did not have a deal I had contacted my bank to determine the logistics of wiring money to him. I have wired money to CR in the past and it is not easy. The banks are sticklers about addresses and the addresses in many places in CR are still "600 meters from the big church in the center of town". The banks have a problem with that so I thought I would grease the skids and talked to my local bank. My bad, cruiser_importer did not ask me to do it, but I honor my business commitments unlike so many others.

Again, see the bad sellers forum for the proof that this guy has either lost it or he is a blatant liar.

You posted an email I sent at 2:59, but that does not mean there were no emails sent prior to that. In fact there were and they are now posted on the bad sellers - buyers beware list where they (and you evidently) belong.

Rick, please stop calling me names. I'm going to put the following in bold so you understand You're first message on the 26th was sent at 2:29 eastern time. Please see my screenshots. I called eBay and they confirmed that's when they were sent to me. And yes, I will concede that I gave you a reference. I've been inundated with emails on these cruisers, and I don't remember you asking for a reference...you obviously did. My mistake. Should I attach the screenshots again? They say 14:29 and 14:59

It is not an attack, just the truth. See my posting on the bad sellers - buyers beware forum where it belongs. Messages sent to you early AM that you ignored.

That's not gonna happen. Geez, the guy just doesn't give up.
