Hey buddies!
My Cruiser is getting older and some parts may fail and cause the engine to cook. Already installing engine temp sensors close to the water outlet in case of cooling system failure. It would also be nice to install a pyrometer to measure temp of what is coming out of the engine. All the Youtube videos I found have that installed at the exhaust side of the turbocharged diesel. That maybe easier to do and there is no danger of debris entering the turbine, but the temperatuire there won't be a true representation of what is coming out of the engine?
Anyone installed the probe where it should be, or it won't worth the trouble?
Directions with photos would be apptrciated.
