Looking to put a diesel in the fj60 some time in the spring/summer

I've found alot of places in canada/west coast/aussie to purchase an engine and/or engine swap (tranny/tc)

The prices are fine but the shipping is almost a deal breaker.

I'm thinking about trying to find a 2H engine from a forklift and having the head work/machine work done locally and just putting it together myself along with a small turbo kit(low psi 8-10 on a t25 or t3 turbo) Just enough to give it a 20-40 hp boost and an intercooler to keep the intake temps down.

I've searched around to find more info on putting the 2H forklift engines into a cruiser with not alot of success...i'm assuming the alt would be the same aswell as the injector pump

I'm sure i would have to purchase motor mount brackets (possibly re use mine, just cut/move them) motor moutns, power steering system/brackets and a/c brackets (possibly re use my 2f p.s. pump and a/c compressor?)

I will be bolting it onto my gas transmission so i will need to get a flywheel and bell housing for the 2h

I'm not sure if i can reuse my clutch/pressure plate.

any info would be great.
