Anyone in the Edmonton AB area with fuel Pump tuning skills?

My best advice is an AFR guage. Boost and Pyro dont tell the whole story. I wasnt able to properly tune my 1HDT until I added one. Just need to make sure it s wideband AFR for a diesel engine. Here is what I used:
MTX-L Wideband O2 Digital Air/fuel Ratio Gauge

Alright! Got the new Gauges installed! That sucked big time...

Initial findings with current setup are that it hauls ass from the line and highway speeds are easy to achieve in a very short period of time. The boost came on so strong, while merging onto the freeway, that one of the air lines on the air pilot circuit blew right off. Lost my boost gauge readings but the cruiser kept hauling ass. EGTs at 110km/hr stayed around 520F Ambient temperature at time of test: 4C. Max boost achieved before line blowing off: 22PSI (I'm suspecting that I've got minor air leaks on the air pilot circuit and will have to get some hose clamps) All in all, I am 100% satisfied with my current settings and don't think I will mess with the main fuel screw at this time.

Pyro before or after the turbo?

Doug,

It's a stock automatic with a wholesale automatic valve body job.

Tweeek,

Pyro is 3" after turbo on the dump pipe.

Mudgudgeon,

It probably could but it's so responsive right now that I'm leary about tuning it further till I get the pump and injectors redone first. I'm not sure if they've ever been rebuilt so it would be my next major service project.

Looks like we're going through the same battle right now. I adjusted my fuel screw before figuring all this boost compensator s*** out and it was sucking the diesel. Now I swapped a volks IP pump fuel pin, sleeve and diaphragm + cover w/ smoke screw. I can't wait to feel her roar. Looking like you've got it all figured out on your end.

Videos please!
