Thinking about making a run this Saturday. Eagle rock and wreynolds wrap.

Love to escape but wife might not think that would be too funny as we'll have massive teenagers and adults in our back yard and house for a multi kid grad party......

I am not a big fan of coming up old stage, that road about shakes all the bolts out of my rig, so I was thinking meeting at the trailhead at 10 AM. That way you springs folks can come up, and I can go down.

yup, that's the place. I don't think there's and water in that hole anymore. Figured we meet there at 10 AM and we can cruise up to Wreynolds wrap then come back down. That puts you leaving the Springs around 9ish I would guess.

Awesome. I'll bring some brats.

Yea, kids are welcome, what about the food? :grinpimp:

I'd love to come, but won't have my truck back together by tomorrow.

I have an open seat. Anyone want to ride? 4three9-nine6zerotwo Vic

Luke, you bringing a couple of extra brats for me, or should I bring some?

I'll bring a 5 pack of brats, and some dogs. That should be plenty for everyone. Just bring some snacks for yourself. I've got another yota and possibly a jeep making it too.

This turned out to be an epic trip with weather such as sun, rain, snow, sun, snow, sun, rain, sun, snow, rain. Well, you get the idea. It makes me realize I need new tires. Here are some pics. I hope I can remember how to upload pics. Vic

My last note was censored but I didn't say anything bad. A synonym would be "rubbing." Please note Luke's cheesy smile while he grapples with his broken tire carrier. Not shown is a pic of his winch cable dangling with the U shaped part of his D-ring shackel after the threaded pin fell out somewhere on the trail. Anyway, more pics.....

I think the reason Luke's tire carrier fell off was because his Ham radio antennas made it top heavy. You can see in the picture above that they extend like ominous spears ready to slash anything within reach. Shoulda stuck with a CB radio, Luke!!! Anyway, we had lots of fun. Some of us exited on 379C down to the Clyde/7 Lakes road where I washed off my tires in the creek crossing. I didn't dry the rear drums and they locked up when I got to the steep part of the road down, which was covered in snow and slush. I was going sideways trying to get it stopped and Luke and Justin thought I was playing around. Scared myself pretty bad; thought I was going in the ditch or over the edge. We picked up trash and closed off one illicit spur on 379, our adopted road. I'll let Frank L. of USFS know that CLC did some official trail maintenance. Looking forward to the next adventure.......Vic
