Anyone having emu wing regrets?

What's opinion of Emu Wing owners on the hinges - I have a tall drawers and am usually packed to the rafters on big trips.

Do the Emu Wing hinges protrude into usable rear storage space, snag on gear or otherwise get in the way?

The reason i only did one panel is the motor died and I couldn’t find a used replacement and toyot wanted about 500 bucks for new one so it made more sense to order this.. way more bang for the buck
