My driver's seat is toast! I've been trying to hunt down a replacement (passenger or driver side) in grey vinyl for my 82 BJ42. I'm in Nanaimo, but I'm happy to drive north or south.

Thanks!

I'd call Steve at EBI Cruisers in Vancouver or John at RADD cruisers if no one has a set in their garage/goat barn.

Is the frame still good.. U could take it and have it repad and new cover put on it .. sure there are custom car shops up there

From the pics in the other thread, he needs Vynal and perhaps the foam cushion.

Thanks for the feedback folks. I was in Radd the other day and was told that they've sold ALL of their back lot parts to EBI. I'll be in touch with EBI if it comes down to it... But I'd rather pick something up on the island than pay to ship it from Vancouver. Then again... I'm on tour next week... Maybe I could talk the band into a detour on the way back..

The seat frames are in excellent shape, as is the foam under the vinyl. The passenger seat is in really, really excellent condition. Clean, no rips/tears/weird creases, etc. The ideal scenario would be to find another passenger seat from a different truck, as they have less wear than the driver usually, and swap the cushions on to my driver frame.

Cruiser corp out of oklahoma sells the covers ...

Cruiser Corps covers look great, but I can't swing $326+shipping. Oh well! I emailed EBI.. We'll see what they say.. Hopefully they have something!

Yeah, looking at around $150 for just the driver base. They said it was unlikely that they could find a matching grey vinyl so it would look odd with the rest of the truck... Might just go to Canadian tire and buy two seat slip covers.

If you're thinking slip covers, the trailgear ones from cabelas are pretty nice compared to crappy tire ones. I've had them in a few trucks. Maybe there's a better option at ct now, but last ones I had weren't cheap and they didn't last for s***.

(also, you can't tell us you're in a band and then not tell us which one.)
