60 just came back from paint .... and seems they lost the rod that goes from outside button/latch to the lateral bars

The latch rods in the Tailgate, or upper hatch? I bought a 60 with a missing latch rod in the tailgate, had to buy both and now have an extra... Also have a parts tailgate.

They are calling them out as "wire" 69313 & 69314 in the diagram.

This definitely is NOT the classifieds section, but I'm happy to help if you need these or one. They were difficult for me to source because no one wanted to part out a tailgate or respond to such a meager request. I'd like to make it easy for you

Did they lose both or just one? Perhaps if you only need one you can re-create the second one?

Also, if you can tie a wire tight enough, it works okay

Yes.... I think ( lift hatch )??? the button mech is not connected to vertical rod

Sorry.. dont think I discribed this in enough detail... Thank you for the help so far......
The thumb button is missing the connecting rod to the vertical mech
