Anyone have a issue with "L" emblem fading or becoming damaged?

Bought my 2021 2nd hand and the Badge on the rear door looks like its faded or was somehow otherwise damaged.
Its just so weird, I cant imagine what could have caused it.

Only issue I've had with my 2013 is the door handles plastic chrome trim getting hairline cracks, like when paint dries and cracks.
Both emblems look fine.
Very odd to be happening on a 5 year vehicle, when mine is going on 12 years and not seen that yet.
