1996 Land Cruiser

This is a friends truck in ATL. The cruiser specialist referenced in the ad is ACC.

Half Ass 2.0 anyone?

And as a friend you should tell them to be realistic and sell it for $1500.

NO FRIGGIN WAY there's 5K or 3K in parts in that rig.... even given 3 years worth of storage and picking.... ask me how I know.

Rear diff from an 80 series, 4:10 gears. Will fit any cruiser rear axle and any non-80 front axle. $175.

I might need that. My nephew's "rear end locked up" Sunday. Waiting on the shop to tell me the parts needed.
I can bring it to Jackson Saturday. But I would have to pick it Thursday, unless Cameron wants to bring it to fire station on friday.

I can deliver to Southaven if that helps. I have class at UofM if you want to meet me there with it on Thursday evening.

Well, to stay friends I would rather not get involved. He asked me about it before he bought it and I told him "that should buff out." He's owned it for about 36 hours. Guess it didn't buff out.

The 5k in parts number didnt come from him and if it didnt come from ACC then we'll just call it a craigslist appraisal. Make him an offer or move on, I give nor the pooh.

Maybe not in the parts, but SOR could make at least $5K in shipping if they parted it out.

Cameron/Nolan....I will be in Southaven Saturday and Sunday for drill happy to haul it down if yall do the deal.

Can link up for transfer on Saturday after 5 or on Sunday

Cameron "wants" to... but my schedule is packed on Friday...

I'll definitely be free some on Thursday, though.

Or I could bring the diff down Mon.

You want to do what with my balls? I'd probably let you if you hold me after.

I've been dragging my feet, but it's time to go ahead and put this on the market (I'm gonna start on the CLC site first):

Description:

• 1995 Green/Tan FZJ80
• 192,000 miles
• Factory front and rear differential e-lockers
• (5) 285/75-16 (33") BFGoodrich All-Terrain KO tires with lots of tread (spare is brand new) on factory Lexus LX450 wheels
• ARB Bull Bar front winch bumper
• Smittybilt 10,000 lb. winch with lifetime warranty
• Old Man Emu 2-1 lift kit (2" in front and 1" in rear to render a level stance)
• Stock interior, with the exception of LED dome and reading lights and an Infinity BassLink subwoofer in rear.

I bought the truck with the knowledge that it had a knocking engine, and right after purchasing it, I had the engine completely rebuilt (including an entirely new timing cover / oil pump. The rebuild was less than 15,000 miles ago.) I also replaced the radiator, hoses, etc. at that time. The rebuild also resolved a couple of known issues with these trucks, namely the headgasket and the "pesky heater hose." NOTE: I've always run the truck on Mobil 1 fully-synthetic oil with Mobil 1 filters, and I have always used Toyota red coolant.

Within the last 3,000 miles, the truck has had:

• Complete front birfield joint service (including the use of Marlin heavy-duty birfield kits)
• New front rotors
• New factory Toyota front brake pads
• New factory Toyota plug wires
• NGK plugs
• Factory Toyota distributor cap and rotor
• Air filter
• New a/c evaporator core
• New battery
• All three differentials drained and filled with Mobil 1 fully-synthetic 75W-90 differential fluid.

Known issues:
• As with most, if not all, green FZJ80s, the clear coat on the hood, and places on the roof are fading. This wasn’t a big deal for me, because I had planned to either decal or paint the center of the hood flat black
• The clear coat, for whatever reason, is coming off of the passenger side front flare
• There is some rock rash on the passenger side rear fender flare
• Prior to me buying it, a limb had fallen on the rear section of the roof and hatch, and as a result, the rear wind foil is missing and there are a couple of dents up high / at a rear corner on the passenger side. Not very big at all
• The engine is completely leak-free, but when I had the engine rebuilt, I used a NAPA (should have known better) heater control valve, and it’s leaking. I already have a new Toyota factory valve, and it’ll go with the truck.

The truck drives, performs, and stops very well, and I would think that, with proper maintenance, it should easily do the same for another 100,000+ miles.

I’m asking $8,900 for it.
