Based on the description, what's that truck worth?

10 years ago, that was a $35,000 truck.

25K is what it is [/b]worth[/b] in my opinion.

18K is what is may could bring in this market.

That is a low mileage, no rusted BJ. It is a hell of a specimen IMO.

If that was a 83 FJ in that kind of condition it would bring about the same $

Nice, nice, nice truck.

Get it and sell that damn Defender you never drive :)

That's a pretty cool truck, and having a Diesel, it gets me a little more interested.

Nope, the D90 stays (driven or not). It's just one of those vehicles I enjoy owning.......and I DO drive it, just not as much as I should!

I can drive to work and back... it's only 2 miles... then I'll drive it to lunch too...
man, I'd be the doodoo then.

'78 FJ-40 - $600 - Lonoke, AR (outside of Little Rock)

I know just enough about 40s to be dangerous, so this may or may not be a good deal. Looks fairly solid for the year as far as rust is concerned. Roller that comes with hardtop and doors. Not too bad, but that's a novice assessment...

Alabama DD right there...
See if the Hi-lift comes with it... otherwise... $400...

Lash???

That 78 looks to have about $600 in parts between the disk brake front axle, hard top, etc, etc. But, I'm not parting out another rig for quite a while once I finish the two 40s I'm working on now. When is a CottonLander going to build a V8, SOA freak-40? This is a good candidate.

Not a bad deal. In Colorado, that would be considered rust-free!

WOW! :p:p Does he restore them or buy and resale. He has sold some nice ones.

He buys them in decent shape and works his magic. He also sells some pretty good parts. Usually any aftermarket add-ons are sold. I got my brush guard and header from him. Nice guy too.
