With the tanking economy, what's the going rate on an new LC200? Might be a good time to get one with rates so low! Thanks.

I am strongly tempted to grab a new 200 if things get uglier. Should be a good time to get in one I would think. I would guess my local dealer already has a hard time moving them in the best of times so moving one now would be like a Godsend to them.

Word on the street is in 60 - 90 days the best pricing will be available as dealers are forced to turn sales for cash flow. Wholesale pricing is down 10% but retail has only seen a 1% reduction overall according to online resources.

That corresponds with what I'm seeing around me. I've been looking for a great deal on a used Lexus RC-F and prices just aren't dropping significantly yet.

Paid 82K for my heritage edition a couple weeks ago.

Yeah, I’m not sure about where y’all live. Around Charlotte new ones might last 2-4 weeks and used ones are gone in less than a week.

Dealer keeps calling me asking me to trade my 18 in for new one. I've said no and then today when they called i said ok but all my "goodies" have to be moved to new LC for no charge. Bumpers, wheels, lights, skids, sliders, rack etc. They said they would get back to me. Lol.

Doubt i get called again.

Picking up one for dad. So will be 3 200 series here. 10K OFF MSRP is the best I have gotten. Looking to pick up next saturday. Have two more dealers I am negotaiting with, so hopefully will get something during the week.

I guess I'll wait it out. HE looks great but will miss the 3rd row and fridge. Since Eric said HE will be available for 2021, there's not reason to pay a premium for it right now.

I purchased a new 2020 a month ago, dealers in Texas we NOT interested in any discounts, in fact I was quoted MSRP at several dealerships, finally after 3 weeks and 20+ Texas dealers I was able to get $10K off MSRP by driving down to Houston. I was frankly stunned at the lack of interest in discounting the MSRP, they kept telling me, there's only 12 in Texas sir.

Definitely more than 12 units in Texas. Found 18 in Houston today including....drum roll...brand new HE for 82k MSRP of 90k. 2 white available. The black HE shows full MSRP. Guess black is more popular.

Good luck getting them to honor that price...Fred Haas quoted me MSRP. Lol. Actually 2-3 dealers said, "oh that price on our website is a mistake, sorry".

Hahaha...the old bait and switch. My wife is the one that brought me to Don McGills...she wanted the LX so i humored her and talked the Lexus down 6k. Told her...for s***s and giggles lets go to Toyota and see for LC. Now i secretly "knew" it was MSRP on LC. So walk on lot...looking at LC and here comes the sales guy...he asks Whats it gonna take? Mr. Smug ill show my wife says...Lexus gave me 6k off. Knock 7 off and ill buy it. He smiled and said well i have to talk to manager...told wife welp thats it....SOB came back with an ok. Wife smiled and left me to do the paperwork.

Don McGill Toyota in Houston made it happen for me. 10.5% off MSRP, solid number on my 4Runner trade, deal took about 30 minutes. Drove down to H town and was in/out in 90 minutes....After a month of stories and run around from other dealers in Houston, Austin, San Antonio. If you're in Houston or surrounding area, I'd call Don McGill if your looking.

@Eric Sarjeant do most people in the industry wonder why the public usually views buying a vehicle as such a bad experience? I only ask you because you are in said industry.. I’d fully expect a deal with you to be great.
