Anybody running doorless?

I still have half the doors and only half the roof and i find a lot of mud comes in around the door area and gets splattered on the door and i think if i took the doors of more mud would come in. and if your wondering it isnt legal coz i live in Australia. heres a picture.

Love the open air feel of the 40 but just love my 55, I think totally removing the doors off the 55 throw the lines all off, so... I am going to make half doors! I want to cut at the lower body crease but would eliminate the handle/lock by doing so? So? Maybe a U ish or V ish shape? They will be painted to match the truck and can be mounted for the seasons

Ive been thinking about building half tube doors then using the stock door skins and dzus fastening them on when a little wind / mud protection is wanted. Just dzus them off in nice weather... Ever seen anything like that?
i have never seen anything like it but if i still had a roof on my cruiser i wld cut the doors in half and work out a way to fix the other half when im goin ofroad or its raining etc.
