Any Simple Bulb Upgrade Suggestions for Interior Dome/Map/Door Lights?

Is there any trick involved in getting the map light bulb out?
I can't seem to be able to pull it out.

Got a picture? I am not at mine right now but I don't recall a struggle. Mine are really upgraded and super bright.
Never mind. I figured it out.
Pro tip... use a flashlight to see what you are doing and how the bulb is supposed to come out.
Press the bulb in an turn it.
You can't do it in the dark.

Before I mess up with 28 year old plastic, is there (yet another) trick for replacing the door courtesy light bulbs?
Do I just pull the cover out, pry it out?
It seems to be stuck well in its housing.
