This little $10 ebay boat is great... I took the advice of getting longer run time batteries and they're great... I can't beleive how far away I can control this thing... I had it about 300-350 yards away from me (chasing ducks) and it was still under my control.... Since I bought it i also bought 2 more boats(same kind one for 4.99 and one for $0.99) Although I've spent nearly $100 on batteries for them I love them...

Next improvements will be upgrading the engines from 380's to 500's or larger brushless engines...

Keep in mind that the jump in motor size will increase load on the speed controller. more heat, more risk of failure. You might want to look at going to a quality RC speed control when you upgrade motors.

Ah thanks for the info, I was looking into upgraded them anyways because they only have two settings full power or no power, these cheapo boats only have 2 speed fast and stop..
