I'm concerned only with off road. Does going to 37's over 35's make a really big difference on the trail? Or is it marginal?

Yes, it get's your rear control arms mounts 1" higher. Then with the MAF brackets they will only be 3" lower, but with a 6" lift they will be 3" higher than stock, but that is not compared to a stock truck, that is compared to a 4" lifted truck, but is you use 1.5" spacers and 4" springs it will be 2" lower than stock brackets, but still higher than a stock truck. :D:D:D:D:D:D:D:D:D:D:D:D:D:D

Bottom line is, larger tires always help on the trail, if you can don't break, your steering does not conk out, youi don't bump stop the hell out of it and you have the balls to drive it.

PS, anyone got 44's for sale?

You guys go a little further on this and we'll end up seeing the whole thread go *poof*.

And that will prolly be the best thing you do today! Poof Away! :flipoff2: :D :flipoff2:

That was the hope here methinks. Sort of the Brer Rabbit approach in case it was missed.

An inch is just an inch, it clears that obstacle it once did not... then you'll find a bigger challenge that hangs you up, and want another inch.... Big difference is a relative term.

If it were just about that extra inch of clearance, none of us would air down to <15 lbs.

I'm assuming this is a dig at me. It's not appreciated. I drew wrench a freak'n picture to explain what I ment by lower compared to what he ment by lower with no refrence point. If you don't get the point, that's not surprising.

OK, I should have put the :D :D in. Just meant as a joke. I think we all know what was said and meant and it really is no big deal.

There, edited the post. Is that better.

This made perfect sense to me except for the last part where you lost me...why would anyone ever want to or ever need 44's? Do you own agricultural equipment?

Yeah, I figured that but was trying to be funny which isn't really working on this list lately...

Folks are wound up a bit about them brackets and their lifts and all.

You gonna go to coilovers with the 44's? Did you check Super70's rig in the hardcore section?

It will make the truck easier to roll over, As I see you have roll tested your truck, so no worries then mate. have at it.just put them on . It occurs over here you want 37's. Just put them on and deal with the issues as they come up. You really did not want others thoughts. later robbie
