getting mixed info on the wider net...figured I'd come to the hive mind here. anyone ever break something on their 80 using bug cleaner and a pressure washer?
any issues pressure washing radiator?

I would avoid it. Pressure washer can bend the cooling fins over if spray hits them on the right (wrong) angle

I might be able to come up with a faster way to flatten all the fins over on the radiator, but I'd have to think about it some.
A Compressed air wand from the back side is the best way to clean the fins out quickly.
Pressure washing from the outside just rams the road grime, sand, and pebbles farther in. Like the other members said, will fold over the fins.

I mean ya don't gotta stand right on top of the radiator with it definitely don't use a spinning tip or the straight line stream and yes you can bend the fins over but if you go after it from far away and work to it and depending on the power washer.^^^^^

I would stay away from any kind of pressure washing on cars period.
