As I try to tie up loose ends, I need to find someone who can do some welding work for me. My new air-conditioning setup requires I change the heater control valve position. The two outlets on the engine head need to be cut and rotated as far down as I can get them (there's not a lot of space between them so it may be tricky). I have a nice square wave TIG welder, but welding of this sort is beyond my competence level.
Also, I need to find somebody who can weld two hose bungs on to my aluminum intake plentum set up. I'm trying to get rid of excess joints that may contribute to vacuum leaks.
Does anyone know of a welder or shop in Reno, Sparks, or Carson that might take on such a task?
