Looking at Monte calipers for my rear conversion and was wondering if there is any difference between loaded and unloaded calipers besides pads?

No, I think it might be cheaper to buy loaded but not sure. Just last weekend I went to the parts store and I wanted a loaded caliper and they had none in stock. I asked the guy do you have it in stock unloaded and the pads and it was in stock. It cost me more but when I got home I had pads for the whole front. So, it worked out.

Loaded calipers have the pads, the pins that hold them in, and the anti rattle spring.

unloaded is just the caliper. No pins, spring or pads.

Loaded ones are 99% of the time more expensive. Uhhhhh since they include pads, springs, and pins.

the pads in loaded calipers are usally the bottom of the line
