Another tranny question.

A while back a asked about bolt patterns of a 3 speed vs a 4 speed.

Well I got to thinking if they were the same length? If I swap out the 3 speed for the 4 am I going to have to replace the drive shafts or should I be okay?

You will need to change driveshafts...or have yours shortened and lengthened....they are different lengths as the four speed transmission is longer than the three speed.
