Another KDSS Warning

Just thought I'd throw this out there. My truck is only 2 years old with 18,000 miles and I already had surface rust forming. Everyone should get ahead of this and check their valves.

I used some 600 grain sand paper to work off the rust and applied LPS3. I'll check it again in 4 months or so.

Will never cease to be amazed that Toyota won’t at least COAT these parts with something...if they won’t use rust-resistant metals to begin with.

Overall this has been the case on toyota for years. 98% bombproof amazing vehicles with a handful of significant issues that IF you are aware of and can plan for/monitor you won’t have problems.

But remain uneducated on those problems? Bad news jack.

BTW, other than new, that has to be the cleanest KDSS accumulator assembly on the planet.
