I'll preface this by stating I'm horrible at deciphering ewd's.
Yup you guessed it, the fuse for my gauge cluster and all the other circuits is blowing. This has been happening for quite some time now. I thought I had it fixed but I suppose not and the frequency of the 10amp fuse blowing has increased.
Things ive checked.
With the truck running and hvac on hi, ive ad my hands on just about every wire harness and connector from the engine bay to underneath the whole vehicle. moving the wire harness in all different directions trying to stress the harness out, not once did the fuse blow.
Took it for a test drive to try and replicate what happens when the fuse blows.
I learned that the fuse blows when I get on the throttle rather aggressively, but only while in gear(R,D,2,1). If I rev the engine in Park or Neutral, the fuse will not blow.
Traveling Speed doesn't seem to have an effect on the fuse blowing if I get on the throttle kinda hard.
What's your thoughts guys?
I should add, I do have the Huddexpo egr delete kit installed. But I feel like if the harness by the egr was compromised the fuse would pop whether I was in drive or not.
Thanks, -Dwight
Maybe tps? VSS? Would love to figure this out.
