Looks like I'm out also. If anyone needs a parts runner or a contact; I will be home and available. (Not a Ham though). Have fun.

I'm keeping an eye on the temps- if it's not butt arse cold, I'm in. As long as the wind is minimum, cold temps should be fine.

As usual, plan for a LONG day, bring extra food, water, clothes, and common sense. This trip has the potential to turn for the worst. If you have somewhere you need to be by any particular time, then I'd suggest not attending! In the past years, the snow runs have been memorable - sometimes good, sometimes not so good but either way, they tend to run late.

NOAA is calling for 25 and sunny at Jemez Pueblo and 21 and sunny in Santa Fe. Morning temps will be near 0, but once that heat tab comes up it shouldn't be bad.

I'm interested...pending the details.

I'm out.

I'm still in as long as everyone else doesn't bail.

Question now is who has been up there enough to know the decent routes? Showtime still looks to be
9am @ North Portal.

I need the radio!

Showtime is 9am @ North Portal. Looks like 2+ feet of snow in the higher elevations. Should have enough capable rigs not to have any issues. I have maps, GPS, and my old school .mil issue compass - we'll still need to lock down a route.

Who's leading? I was up there this past year but only as a passenger...

If nobody else chimes in I can - I have enough rig to bust trail and have the maps to hopefully help guide the way. This will be my second run in Paliza Canyon, so while not knowing the trails by heart, I should be okay with the maps. I would hope there will be enough collective knowledge among the group to find our way through.
