Bad News/Good News....

Bad News...
After replacing the hub on the Franken80 this past Saturday, I got home and something wasnt right and I thought I had a broken longfield because the front DS tire was binding up and popping from my view in the drivers seat. Loaded the truck back up Sunday (Yes Easter :bang:) and took it back to John's so I could work on it Monday. John and I took the front DS knuckle apart and pulled the perfectly put together Longfield out and inspected and every was fine (this is great news because they are out of stock at Trail Gear) and couldnt figure out what was going on with the binding up. So we put it back together and check the diff fluid and it was quite low, so we filled it back up and I back out of the shop and came to find that both tires were actually binding up primarily when turning left and never when turn right :hmm:...We came to the conclusion that is most likely is the front locker that is broke and I dont want to dive into that this week so the Franken80 is down again for another Pig Roast :bang:

Good News...
I have been given another opportunity (Thanks John and Josh :)) to wheel a awesome 40 at the Pig Roast... :grinpimp:

I know you don't want 2 vehicles out there but this is a perfect chance to see what the Q-Ball 80 can do.

Looks Good for the Dog to make an apearence, If nothing changes around here, should roll in Friday late afternoon.

May need a shotgun seat Sat, unless you guys think I can wheel the truck without much damage.

I thought about that last night, then when John called I figured a built truck would be more fun :steer:...Durhamtown would be a great first run for the white 80...I kinda like the "Q-Ball 80" title :hmm:

Hendog- get ready for some Fried Turkey on Friday night

headed outa here around 4:00 tomorrow! Should put @ Dave's around 7:00 with a couple of stops along the way. Lookin' forward to a camp fire and cold beverage:beer:.

The turkey has been seasoned and is in the fridge waiting for its destiny :grinpimp:

My plan is to leave work around 3:30 and go home to pick up the cooler and miscellaneous stuff then go to John's and hook the trailers up...John and I plan to leave his house around 5...

Lookin' forward to some good times...

BTW- dont forget to bring a side dish or a dessert for Saturday...

Aidan and I are just gonna bring the 80, id rather spend my money on parts than gas. well leave around 4:30, probably get lost a few times, then roll in at ??? time
