Anybody know the amperage that comes off the ignition coil exciter wire from the ignition switch to the coil proper?
I'm looking into a "kill" switch for the mule, running maybe 15amps max. Anyone know what kind of amperage I'd be looking at here?

Dude, edit your post. Don't put that info out there..read my fix. As for the amperage question, not a clue, I'm not going out this late to measure.
**See if Larry can throw a meter on for ya on Monday?? :)

'K Thanks for the tip.

I was hoping for it written somewhere, but I can ask my dad to help, he's one o' those electrician-types.

For those with questions as to what was originally said, what I wrote was:

Dear Diary,
Today I was pompous, and my sister was crazy. Today we go kidnapped by hillmen, never to be seen again. It was the best day ever.

Anyway, back to tech.

but I have a night job and day classes, does that count?

I will look up summit's options, thanks!

Just watchin out for you mang..

'K thanks!
I will read the fuse. I figured it wouldn't be that much, it's not a load-bearing wire, but an exciter, as cruiser88 says, it's not likely to be over 20 amps. Shoot, I think that's the highest number in my fuse panel.
