All -

Some additional information (per request) on the wheels. These are OEM FZJ80 wheels that I purchased with the intent of turning them into beadlocks. I purchased the wheels and sent them to Champion Beadlocks...they are an amazing company to work with and I highly recommend them.

I selected their C3 conversion...which offers a bit of wheel protection. They have a very aggressive look and some great protection.

After the wheels were converted...I sent them to Ricks Powdercoating in Memphis and had them powdercoated in "anthracite". I think they came out really well and I would be more than willing to do sets for anyone...the price with a good set of OEM wheels, shipping, beadlock conversion, and powdercoating is anywhere from $2,200 to $2,500.

Enjoy the pictures!

I may be interested in the rims. What is the procedure to mount the tires to the beadlocks?

To mount the tires on the beadlocks...you basically mount the tire and then tighten the ring. You do need to go through a tightening process...you will need to tighten them after the first 20 miles for the first 100 miles...then you need to tighten them every 500 miles or so. Champion has specific instructions...on their website...nothing magic...just some manual effort.
