I can put my hands on this one if Toyota use 3 wires ( L / Ig / S) but this one only have 2 asume one its S and the other one its Ig?

for those who are using internal regulated alternators in 60 series ( assuming gasers are externally regulated too ) what needs to be done to accomplish that .? ( if some )

It " looks like " the only thing that needs to be done it's just by passing the VR ... so appears the easiest way it's just make new connections and providing the new alt with info it needs .. I mean, Sense wire from 12V ( can be taken from the B port ) and IG in order to the Alt " shutdown " when the engine isn't running.

Will do that this weekend .. well if I can swap the pulleys first .. ;)

Sorry tappage i thought you were refering to the shaft diameter, which is 20mm..

What you have measured is the belt width which on mine is ~16mm at the top which is the correct size for the "B" section belt
 
Final spot... I would need to buy shorter belt but will test right now as is...

Question.... Are your US spec 60 or 62 externally regulated?

Folks from DC Power ( my alt supplier) said "activating unit wire must see reduced V"

Not sure what does that mean... Coz at my factory alt connector I don't have any V right now..

for the record ..

On GM regulators, " L " circuit is designed to have reduced V directed to it of any where from 1.5 V to 11V
