He was a great kid and will be missed...:frown:

Card for funeral

Anyone from the Mud community that would like me to put their name on the card from our local Cruiser club please respond to this thread with their full name and I will add it.

I did not know him, but I am very sorry for the loss of those who did.

"...any man's death diminishes me..."

RIP. Very sad news to hear.

RIP:frown:

Dang, Tough news for sure. RIP

Dang dude.... I wanted to meet the guy too, he's helped me on a few things. Al, put my name on the card- 'Lane Anderson'

Wow, this is very sad news. For sure one of our younger veteran 80 series mud members. I remember him raving on the ford straight six engine and how torquey they were. The Mud family will definitley miss you, RIP.. I didn't know him personally, but I would like to pay my respect by adding my name to his card. "cc93cruiser" Robert Muniz

I'll remember Logan as he and I, along with my daughter, were the last to come down Table Rock, as everyone else trucked on ahead. Chatted the whole way down about various topics, and not believing he was as young as he was. I'll be listening to Alkaline Trio all day Saturday...

I'm very sad and sorry to read this. Thanks for the fine contributions to the cruiser head community. We will miss you but we will also remember you. Rest In Peace.

I can't believe this! tears are filling my eyes.
Damn it Alky. you'll be missed down here brother.

Wow. Didn't know him, but anyone that leaves that early in life deserves our condolences. RIP young man.

Here's the link to the accident report:

21-year-old killed in accident » The Stanly News and Press (Albemarle, NC)

A deep loss indeed...My prayers go out to his family. I learned much from him in posts though I never met the man face-to-face. I pray the Lord will comfort the many who will need his peace and healing in the months and years to come. I'm sure we will meet for real some day Logan. Add my name (Ben Hall) to the card if it is still available.

The accident report is more sad to read. Although we are all thinking it I think it should be said that there is a glaring issue that most likely ultimately ended his life. We could easily point out that he wasn't in his cruiser at the time of the accident but that wouldn't have helped the fact that he wasn't wearing his seatbelt. Judging by the impact travel distances of both vehicles it's impossible to say if he would have had a chance either way but a seat belt could have weighed heavily on his still being alive today.

I feel for his family. This is horrible.

I have heard and experienced first how bad that intersection is. Visibility is horrible and there have been numerous accidents and fatalities there over the years. There is now a petition going around to put traffic lights in there.
