A deep loss indeed...My prayers go out to his family. I learned much from him in posts though I never met the man face-to-face. I pray the Lord will comfort the many who will need his peace and healing in the months and years to come. I'm sure we will meet for real some day Logan. The accident report is more sad to read. Although we are all thinking it I think it should be said that there is a glaring issue that most likely ultimately ended his life. We could easily point out that he wasn't in his cruiser at the time of the accident but that wouldn't have helped the fact that he wasn't wearing his seatbelt. Judging by the impact travel distances of both vehicles it's impossible to say if he would have had a chance either way but a seat belt could have weighed heavily on his still being alive today.

I feel for his family. This is horrible.

I have heard and experienced first how bad that intersection is. Visibility is horrible and there have been numerous accidents and fatalities there over the years. There is now a petition going around to put traffic lights in there.
