2000 Land Cruiser. Stock suspension. Took it for alignment after a new LH LBJ. Shop said this is the best camber they could get due to "maxing it out"

Any insight on what could be the issue? Im not well versed on alignment techniques, so I'm not sure if theres some tricks to get these trucks aligned, or possibly need to replace some parts or if I need to take it to a different shop. I got the lifetime alignment at Firestone so I'm not shy to take it back. Thanks for the help

my limited experience w. alignment shop: most don't have the factory procedure to do correctly (ask me how I know). In this day and age, techs that actually do the work are low paid and just follow the procedure the "machine data base" says, if the machine has the lc procedure at all.

The cam bolts may be difficult to torque to the right position, thus the low wage tech says "that's all I can do" to management.

Ask the manager to show you porcedure, then you/he compare to a print out of the fsm procedure you cleverly brought. then use gentle presuation to have his crew follow it. May be a hard sell but be persistant.

If you are nice, give him the copy for his records for the next lc/lx customer.
