When did you file it? Usually they'll out the funds back in temporarily until they do their investigation.

September 9th, so under 30 days to sort it out. They said up to 30 in most cases and in some can go to 45

Well s***! Alex has gone dark on me. :poof: I have been trying to get back in touch with him sense late last week. Trying to get a tracking number and confirm that he has indeed shipped my stuff. He will not answer my calls, texts or emails. So as it stands right now, as much of the benefit of the doubt I have given him. Looks like everyone was correct. I will not go so far as to call him a thief or a liar. But I will say he should be in politics and law as opposed to mechanical and fabrication.

If something changes, and I do indeed receive a shipment from him. Like I said before I will update it here. All I can do is warn people at this point to not do business with Alex at AOE at all.

:bang:

I'd hate to say it... But I told you so. He didn't ship anything. If he did he wouldn't be avoiding you.

@Lexonroids when this falls through again would you be interested in filing a report with Orange County law enforcement ? I think this is the route i'm going to go with this. This guy is a complete crook. If I had a facebook account I would go on his page and drop a nastygram for all others to see.

I think it's time to create a Facebook page.

Let this play out. I will make a decision then. Something needs to be done. Not sure on what though.

I think it's been played out long enough.
Well I got a tracking number and he confirmed that it shipped today. This happened about 1 1/2 hours ago when I called him again. He finally answered me when I called this time. I will double check the tracking number tomorrow when it should be updated in the Road runner transportation system. If this is not true I will be proceeding with further measures.

That's sad. He knew it wasn't shipping when he told you it would so he just ignored you until it actually shipped.
You are correct sir. Not cool, not cool at all.

Be aware that Road Runner will probably take longer than estimated to deliver. Few freight companies handle a shipment from start to finish.
Fed Ex, UPS, Estes Express and generally SAIA do. Most others will quote a time frame from the pickup to their terminal then pass the freight to a local drayage service. The point to point freight companies are generally a few dollars higher but in the end are safer. If a pallet is lost a point to point company has to assume the blame. When a carrier that passes off cargo loses something it's always the other companies fault, each blaming the other. This is particularly apparent in a small town. In Miami Az where I'm located, the last Road Runner freight I received was a 4 day delivery quote that took 13 days. It was passed between two other carriers before it arrived. Tracking, in these cases, takes extra effort and calls.
I only ship FedEx or Estes for that reason. The piece of mind is worth the 20 or 30 extra bucks

At this point I don't even care. In the time it has taken this bumper to be made and shipped. I have not only stopped being concerned about getting it. I have purchased an entirely new truck. If it wasn't for me just trying to keep everyone updated on here about what is going on I would have probably not worked so hard at getting this done. That being said... Need a new bumper for the new truck and will be putting the ARB that is on it on the old truck. Here is a photo of the new one and old. I think the AOE bumper is going to look great on the new truck. New truck is the one with the ARB on it in the photos.

I'm talking with a company to try and start making bumpers for the land cruiser. I'll create a thread for it soon.
@sbrodacz Do that and maybe link a kickstarter funding for the first set of them. I wouldn't mind waiting for months on a bumper that I knew was being designed and built custom like that. Especially if I had input on it. The reason I am so pissed at the AOE issue is that I was initially told 2 weeks and I would have a bumper, then the lies started. That was in early June.
