So who here is brave enough to get their meat from Aldi's? They seem to be making an effort to bring in a lot of natural foods to take some of that market share. The meat section is a little sketchy to me though, it all looks kind of gross and I have not seen any claims that make it appealing. Have any of you feasted on any of Aldi's steaks?
I did take a gamble on a package of frozen Sockeye Salmon that claims to be wild caught in Alaska. It looks pretty good and I am going to thaw it for tomorrow's dinner. My wife thinks I am nuts but I am guessing this is the same stuff I would spend $20 a pound on at Whole Foods. I will post results!
