Hi, I have a 'new' (never used) Albright contactor that is only working in one direction. I have switched the terminals around on the motor and can get it to run in the other direction so everything seems to be working there. I can hear the contactor click when I jumper the one spade terminal but it won't engage the motor. I have the centre control spade terminal to ground and then I apply positive voltage to either of the outside terminals. The unit does not seem to be serviceable, I took off the bottom cover but that only reveals the coils. Any ideas? Am I using the control wiring correctly?

Thanks,
Jason

Double check your wiring is correct. If so disconnect the motor leads and do a resistance test to make sure power is being passed through the contactor in both forward and reverse
