Anyone experienced this? 2001 LC, passenger side air vent is missing the directional control knob. Not having much luck in my search. Any fix for this? Thanks!

Not that I can see. I bought this cruiser the other week and was like this when I got it.
I have found lots of broken pieces inside panels of my cruiser. PO pries from the wrong end of the door switch panels and busts the clips. Found them inside the door. Was able to JB weld them back together and save big bucks. I would try pulling the vent and looking down inside. If not, I see some gray ones on Ebay. Might be able to take them apart? Keep the exterior color and just have gray deflector?

Ah, thank you! Dumb me, was not using the correct term “vent tab!”

I’ve had two broken off by aggressive car interior cleaners at the car wash. But only on the center console. I have since modified enough I can’t go through the automated car washes and don’t let others go in to begin with. Also, the plastic seems brittle as heck. I cringe every time I need to work on the dash.

i had one fall off of my lx470 on the side closest to the radio- not sure if its exactly the same. It was a 2 piece slider design that clamps together. There is also a piece that controls the flapper. This part fell off and was right next to the radio. once you pull out the vent from the dash its fairly easy to see how it all connects together.
