that might work, who the hell knows? your in uncharted teritorry. your going to be close to the max recomended weight for airshocks though. i think you'd be happier w/coilovers in the long run....costs more yes but maybe not if you have to buy 2 or 3 sets of anti-rock bars. it's an expensive gamble to make you know?

and coil-overs are very easily tunable to lighter or heavier weight

I totally agree about the uncharted territory, and I hope it works out.
I am however concerned about body roll, but time will tell.
I think with a rig weighing 4500 and 1000lbs unsprung the 8 air-shox should easily hold 3500lbs. ;)
 
But we have gone over this before.

and I have arlready ordered my shox :D
 
I don't think you need double air shocks. In my car I run 2.0" in the front and 2.5" in the rear, I don't run max charge (more or less 350 PSI for 2.0" and 250 for 2.5") and they seem to hold the car's weight without any problem, except the side slopes but this not depends from the charge of the shocks.
