Sorry for the redundant question that is likely, but I couldn't find a good answer on a search of the previous postings. I have already purchased this from Vintage Air.

I just need some direction on modification or additional material needed to install on my FJ43. Here is my the questions that I think I have, based on the limited knowledge at this point.
1. Need to move the power steering over to the left side?
2. Need to purchase or make a bracket for the compressor?
3. Need to purchase vents for the defrost?

Any help is appreciated. The first pic was done when the power steering was being put in. The second was before.

Vintage Air sells a compressor mount for the 2F engine that mounts right where your power steering is currently mounted. I think it's about $110.
All the vents come with the full a/c kit. For some reason, your photo make it look like your battery is really close to the engine. I hope that is just the angle of the camera, because you need clearance for the compressor bracket..... plus the alternator hangs down below the compressor bracket. On the FJ40's that I have worked on, the battery tray has had mounting holes that allow moving the battery tray toward the firewall to get more clearance. I have never looked at the engine compartment of an FJ43 before, so I'm afraid I can't be much help. Did VA say their kit fit your 43?
