That is a good idea. I have the smaller diameter material in stock as well that would work perfect. It would be a permanent replacement- this stuff is indestructible.
How many inches do you need and I can get you a price.
Thanks. Wife got it for me. Chris makes these and he is a Mud member. See his website. Cool stuff.

I am still interested in this stuff to replace the defroster hose on my '71 40.Thought I would ping this for those who don't use search and are wanting to add this air intake to their Land Cruiser. I will be back in town on Monday and can make more. I still have some material left to make for those who are looking.
What is the internal Diameter and length? If it is oval and not round that will be ok- it's flexible, but would need to know the equivalent ID. I believe it will take a smaller hose size but probably a good application.I am still interested in this stuff to replace the defroster hose on my '71 40.
2-3/8", and it is round. 2 feet would likely be plenty - basically from the side of the heater box up to the underside of the top of the dash. I had bought and used some central vacuum hose from a vacuum cleaner place to repair the driver's side many moons ago, but the passenger side disintegrated last winter and I couldn't find whether I had bought enough of that vacuum cleaner hose to have any left over. That business I got the hose from is long gone. You can click on the web site link in my sig line for direct contact info. What is the internal Diameter and length?
