First post and new owner of a 2009 lx570.

About a month ago I came across a thread where someone successfully removed their ahc system and replaced it with a conventional suspension system. Apparently he was able to remove fuses and it did not show and error codes.

Now I can’t find the thread! Can someone please post a link or tell me what fuses need to go?

I believe the user was @turbo8 but I could be wrong. Might help you narrow it down.

Since you're a new owner, have you given the system a chance and put it through its paces? Have you thought through why you want to remove it? There's surely legitimate reasons and specialized use cases, but AHC is a more widely capable and durable suspension for majority of applications.

Also if you remove it you won’t have the nice KDSS sway bar system of the landcruiser. Fitting that would be very difficult and expensive.

I like the concept but unfortunateIy believe that my ahc system is in bad shape. It rides terrible and the front intermittently drops to L while the rear stays N. Waiting on cable now to use techstream but its awfully annoying when you are loaded with customers on a job site and the front bumper scrapes everything.I will probably go with ome heavy until I have time to build something better.

It could be as simple as fluid level too low, failed or badly adjusted sensors, or suspension globes.

This happens to my land cruiser 200 which also have AHC. It will happen occasionally when braking late for the stop light and usually when the road is downhill.

I'm not technical but.. it seems like it could be something easy like the sensors (frame) needing some lube.
